Return and Refund Policy

At Moii Copenhagen, we want you to feel completely secure with your purchase. Therefore, we offer both the statutory right of withdrawal and our own extended 60-day guarantee.

60-Day Satisfaction and Plant Guarantee At Moii Copenhagen, we want to remove all uncertainty from owning plants. Therefore, we offer a combined 60-day satisfaction and plant guarantee.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the pot, you can return it within 60 days of receipt and get a full refund for the pot. Under this guarantee, we accept returns of used pots (it is perfectly fine if they have contained soil and water), but they must be cleaned before returning and must not be deliberately damaged.

  • Plant Guarantee: If your plant dies within 60 days of receipt, we will additionally cover the plant's value up to 150 DKK. This requires that the pot has been used correctly as described below.

Correct use means: The pot is used correctly when:

  • You fill water in the pot up to the indicator and no higher.

  • You only refill water when the indicator shows a low level.

  • The plant is placed in normal lighting conditions suitable for the specific plant type.

  • The pot is used indoors.

  • You use an airy potting soil mix, mixing a maximum of 50% potting soil with something that adds more air to the soil, such as pumice, perlite, LECA clay pebbles, or bark.

The plant guarantee does not apply if:

  • The plant lacks light.

  • Water has been filled above the level shown by the indicator.

  • The plant has been kept outdoors.

  • The plant was in poor condition upon receipt.

  • The plant has been repotted incorrectly or damaged during handling.

To make use of the 60-day guarantee, please contact us at kmj@moiicopenhagen.com within 60 days of receipt. Please feel free to send a picture and a short description of how the pot has been used.

14-Day Statutory Right of Withdrawal As a consumer in the EU, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable legislation if you regret your purchase before using the product. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you received the item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must give us written notice at kmj@moiicopenhagen.com before the deadline expires.

How to return

  1. Send an email to kmj@moiicopenhagen.com with your order number and state that you wish to return an item (please specify whether it is via the 14-day right of withdrawal or the 60-day guarantee).

  2. You will then receive instructions on how to return it.

  3. The item must be sent back no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to return it.

Who pays for return shipping?

  • For the 14-day right of withdrawal: The customer pays and arranges for the return shipping.

  • For the 60-day satisfaction/plant guarantee: The customer pays and arranges for the return shipping of the pot.

  • For defective items: If, contrary to expectations, the item is defective or damaged upon receipt, Moii Copenhagen will naturally cover the return shipping costs.

Condition of the item upon return

  • For the 14-day right of withdrawal: You may examine the item in the same way you would in a physical store. If the item has been used beyond this and its value is reduced, we will deduct a reasonable amount from your refund.

  • For the 60-day guarantee: The pot is allowed to have been in use (filled with soil and water), but it must be emptied, cleaned, and appear in a neat, intact condition without damage before being sent back.

Refunds Once we have received and approved the returned item, we will refund the purchase amount. The refund will be made to the same payment card/method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. We process the refund without undue delay and no later than 10 business days after receiving and approving the return. It may take a few additional bank days before the amount appears in your account.

Uncollected parcels If a parcel is not collected from the parcel shop and is therefore returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct the actual shipping costs for the return shipment from your refund.
